Room Deposit and Application

Campus housing is available to students who have been fully accepted to the university and are enrolled in classes for the upcoming academic semester. Housing is on a first come, first served basis. New students must pay their $200 Admissions Enrollment deposit and a $250 non-refundable Housing Deposit AND complete a Housing application to be considered for housing.

Returning students must pay the $250.00 non-refundable Housing Deposit fee each academic year.

On-campus housing space is limited.

Resident students must be cleared by the Business Office before receiving a room key.

All payments must be submitted to the Bursar’s Office:

The University does not accept personal checks. Only payments by Credit Card, Cashier’s Checks and Money Orders payable to Florida Memorial University are acceptable.


Instructions for FMU housing payment using PayPal:

1. Sign into your PayPal account. You must add a debit or credit card to your account in order to send money to any person, email or cellphone number.

2. Click on the send button in the right-hand corner.

3. Please send the payment for housing deposits to the following email rsobelso@fmuniv.edu. (See image below)

  • Enter $250.00 for the amount.
  • Enter Housing deposit, your name and student ID in the “What is your payment for” designated area provided.
  • Click continue. You will be able to review once more before finalizing your payment.
