On Thursday, September 7, Florida Memorial University welcomed the class of 2027 to the FMU Pride!
The “Ascending to Excellence: Make Every Connection Matter” Convocation was held in the FMU Wellness Center.
More than 600 freshmen, faculty, and staff listened to the inspiring words of the Honorable Dr. Greggory Ian Hanley, Deputy Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Dr. Hanley’s higher education pursuits began at FMU in 2001, known then as Florida Memorial College, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
His detailed personal experiences resonated with the students.
