The Florida Memorial Lions faced the Grambling State Tigers, at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium in Louisiana on Saturday.

FMU running back Walter Wilbon continued his hot streak and lit up the Grambling defense to the tune of 143 yards on 17 carries and one rushing touchdown, while teammate George Young scampered for 71 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Cedquan Smith was patient in the pocket, passing for a total of 147 yards along with one touchdown and one interception, fellow Lion Antoine Williams completed 8-of-11 passes for 65 yards and one interception.

On the defensive end, Alabama transfer Kaven Mwikuta produced a game-high two sacks.

Teammates Amari Taylor and Tyrik Collins both finished with six tackles each.

Although Grambling State’s defense surrendered 443 yards of offense, in the end the Tigers took down the Lions.
