Sensational goalkeeper Maria Gonçalves Guimares had a whopping 15 saves in the match while fellow Lions Kelsey Akins and Ana De Freitas produced a shot each for FMU.
The loss marks the fifth straight for Florida Memorial, dropping them to 3-11-2 on the year and 1-11 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Wednesday, October 25 for senior day against Southeastern. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Dr. Lester Brown Park.
