Lou Rawls Center

Mission:

The LRCPA, at Florida Memorial University, is a versatile 450 seat performance venue. The facility has a two-part mission: to serve both as a learning center and a place for artistic expression for the university’s students; to serve as a hub for community-based music, theatre, and dance in the northwest Miami-Dade County area.

About the Theatre:

The theatre recently upgraded its lighting and sound systems, has spacious dressing rooms, in addition to free and secure parking. As well as hosting performances, the LRCPA is ideal for town hall meetings, symposiums, panel discussions, award presentations, spacing rehearsals, and workshops. An added feature is that the stage also transforms into a 60 seat Black Box theatre, where performers and audience are both on stage for a more intimate theatre experience.
