Summer 2020 Lions’ Registration Day

Summer 2020 Lions’ Registration Days are designed to welcome our incoming students and to provide them with the opportunity to avoid the fall rush while jumpstarting their matriculation at Florida Memorial University.

Developed especially for all newly-admitted freshmen, transfer, and re-admitted students, this one-day program, allows students and their families the chance to meet and interact with administrators, academic advisors, fellow students, and representatives of key business offices, in order to become familiar with FMU’s campus and our enrollment processes.

Over the course of the program, students and families will be guided through the processes for:

  • Academic Assessment and Testing
  • Advising and Scheduling
  • Residential Life and Housing Assignments (if residing on-campus)
  • Financial Aid Processing
  • Assessment of Fees via Student Accounts
  • Payment processing via the Bursar’s Office (Cashier)
  • Information Technology Management (IMT)

Lions’ Registration Days will help our newest Lions and their families get a jumpstart on the college onboarding process. The main event will take place on the first day, but services will also be available the following day in case participants are not able to complete all the processes before the close of business.

The registration cost is $150.00 per student, which includes the cost of lunch the day of the program. The fee is non-refundable. Lunch for guests is available for $10 per person and may be paid on the day of the event only by credit card.

If your party choses to stay overnight, please see enclosed link for Florida Memorial University’s Friends & Family Hotels.

Families may elect to attend only the Lions’ Registration Day, or they may attend both Lions’ Registration Day and the Fall Orientation on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
