Dr. Mary-Angie Salvá-Ramírez has a B.S. in Biology and a M.A. in Public Relations from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico. She holds a Ph.D. in Speech Communication with a major in Organizational Communication and minors in Rhetoric and Sociology from Wayne State University in Michigan, where she was a Thomas C. Rumble Fellow in the Department of Communication.
Currently, she is an associate professor and serves as the adviser to FMU’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter. Dr. Salvá-Ramírez has published in the Public Relations Journal, The Michigan Association of Speech Communication Journal and Forum. She teaches the following classes: Diversity in Mass Communications, Organizational Communication, Public Relations Campaigns, Public Relations Cases, Principles of Public Relations, Public Relations Writing, and Publications Design.
