- Each year, the U.S. Department of Education selects a percentage of financial aid applicants for a more in-depth review of their financial aid information. This review is known as verification and will require certain additional information to be submitted before the financial aid process to be completed.
For the 2021-2022 award year, Florida Memorial University has partnered with KHEAA Verify to provide an online verification process for financial aid processing called KHEAA Verify. KHEAA Verify will contact students to advise of the additional documentation that is information needed. Only students selected for verification will need to create an account via our portal: www.kheaaverify.com/fmu
PLEASE NOTE: The verification process is not optional and must be completed before a student’s financial aid eligibility can be determined. Failure to submit verification documentation will delay award notification and disbursements.
- Florida Memorial University is a member of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). We encourage our students to visit www.uncf.org and create a profile, complete the general scholarship application and apply for general and competitive scholarships. Good luck!
