Dr. Abbass Entessari, Associate Professor Economics, School of Business. B.S., University of Tehran; M.A.,University of Arizona; Ph.D., Howard University. Dr. Abbass Entessari’s research interests include topics in Urban Economics (with emphasis on minority economic issues ,i.e., discrimination in housing and employment), Money and Financial Institutions, and Econometrics. Among other topics, his publications include “Trade and Minority Employment in the U.S. Trade Industries, 1980.” and “Financial Policy and Reform in Pacific Basin Countries.” Dr. Entessari has directed many funded grants on community economic developments. He has led the School of Business to receive accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in June of 2000 and reaffirmation in April 2010.
