Date: March 14, 2020 To: University Community From: President Jaffus Hardrick Re: COVID-19 Update IV Florida Memorial University deeply cares about the well-being of its students, faculty, and staff and continues to monitor the situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Currently, we do not have any reported cases of COVID-19 on campus. Academic Instruction In an abundance of caution, the University will transition to virtual learning beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020 through Friday, March 27, 2020. To facilitate this transition, classes will be suspended for three days, from Monday, March 16, 2020 through Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
