Girl Code Camp

Florida Memorial University’s “Girl Code” provides fundamental support to minority girls in preparation for careers in the technology industry, specifically girls who are first-generation and low-income. The program provides the curricula and certifications they need to succeed in a tech-driven economy. As we look at preparing them for viable employment or entrepreneurship, program participants will choose from two different career tracks – front end developer or game stack developer.

In partnership with the Black Girl Code Inc, the coding camp will be a challenging one-week exploration virtual program for middle through high school female students, 6th – 12th grade, interested in technology. With a pre-collegiate experience in coding, we are educating future gamers, coding experts and application developers in the tech industry.
