Florida Memorial University Residential Life welcomes you to our campus. Living on campus is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy college life at it is fullest. It opens a world of interaction with our students, faculty, and staff members in many social and academic activities. It is a special time of learning and maturing, a time to be a member of the Florida Memorial University family. The purpose of the Residential Hall is to provide an atmosphere where a student can study, sleep, and enjoy fellowship. We provide a living and learning environment. FMC Residential Life areas consist of four Residence Halls, two male halls, J. T. Brown and A. B. Coleman, Sr., and two female halls, W. C. Robinson and R. R. Goode.

Eighty-two rooms. With four students per room we can accommodate three hundred and twenty-eight students. This residence hall houses mainly freshmen and sophomore females.

Thirty-nine rooms. Twenty-eight female honor students are housed in the Honors Wing of this Residence Hall, occupying fourteen rooms. With four students per room in the remaining twenty-five rooms, this gives R.R. Goode Hall the capacity of one hundred and twenty-eight students. Also, housed in this building, in her own private suite, is Miss Florida Memorial University.

Sixty-two rooms. Mainly housed in this building are freshman male students. There are two students per room, with the exception of fifteen rooms with three students per room, making the capacity for this residence hall one hundred and thirty-nine students.


A. B. Coleman Sr. Residence Hall

Sixty-two rooms. This residence hall houses upperclassmen students. Also, housed in this hall is the Honors wing for male students. The Honors wing provides housing for twenty-two male honor students. There are fifteen rooms which are occupied by three students to a room, with the remainder of the thirty-six rooms housing two male students per room, giving a residence hall capacity of one hundred and thirty-nine students.


The housing capacity for Residential Life is seven hundred and thirty-five students. Each residence hall has a computer lab. All halls are provided cable and telephone services.
