Academic Computing Training
Academic Computing is the training arm of the Division of Information Management Technology (IMT). The Department designs and delivers University-wide training in an effort to support the University’s perspective. It assists University employees with developing the skills needed for current jobs, and prepares them to effectively respond to job changes. Employees are fully prepared to perform their everyday duties in an efficient manner.
The Department oversees the University’s computer labs including the newly designed Faculty and Staff Training Resource Center (TRC). The Center, which is located in room 208 in the Lehman Aviation Building, is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. In addition to training workshops, the Resource Center provides assistance to faculty and staff with any questions, problems or special projects they may have.
Academic Computing is constantly engaged in an ongoing dialog with the campus community to identify the training needs of the college, refine training material and remain current in our training endeavors.
