The Division of Information Management and Technology provides assistance to faculty and staff who are in the process of constructing grant proposals or conducting research for diverse academic disciplines.
The services provided by the division are varied. Some of the areas where IMT provides assistance include:
Grant proposals
- Determination of technical requirements (hardware, software, personnel) to support a proposal.
- Review and evaluation of technology proposed.
- Development of website inclusion requirements and layout for a proposal.
- Cost analysis (quotes) for purchase of specific technology hardware and software named in a proposal.
- Identification of current technology resources available at Florida Memorial University that may contribute to the proposal.
Research
- Identification of Internet resources to assist in research.
- Support for statistical software applications used in research.
- Instruction and help with presentation software.
- Classroom facilities for subject testing.
