Philosophy

Florida Memorial University Intramural Recreation Sport Department provides intramural and recreation activities in the attempt to meet the wellness needs of the colleges community. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to participate in any of the program offered by the department. Participation can result in various benefits. Spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, and social aspects of an individual's life can be enhanced by taking part in the various programs offered.

Health and Safety

Participation in all Florida Memorial University IM-REC program is completely voluntary. The department is not responsible for any injuries or accidents incurred by participants or spectators. Each participant should be aware of the risk involved in the activity chosen. It is strongly recommended that each participants have a medical examination prior to participation and carry health and accidents insurance. Each participation must sign the IM-REC roster/waver form prior to participation in any intramural activity.
