Florida Memorial University seeks to attract students who have the potential for success and who present the necessary personal and academic qualities to derive maximum benefit from the programs offered by the college. A myriad of factors are taken into consideration in the selection of a freshman class, and each applicant is viewed on an individual basis. The primary source used to determine a student’s readiness for college is the student’s high school preparation. In addition, the student’s maturity, intellectual awareness, motivation and determination toward learning are also key indicators. The student's performance on the SAT and/or ACT are considered with other credentials in the application review for admission to Florida Memorial University.
