The newly formed Chamber Singers is designed to study the standard choral literature, as well as anthems, spirituals, and gospel. It also presents our students with the opportunity to apply the vocal and musical knowledge learned in the studio and classroom. This ensemble serves as the choir for our conducting students’ projects and as a praise team for the church music students, as they explore today’s contemporary Christian music.
The ensemble is open to all vocal music majors, especially those with high levels of sight-reading skills, excellent vocal production, and who are highly motivated to achieve outstanding levels of performance.
