University Communication

Throughout the Florida Memorial University internal community, the Office of Public Affairs is responsible for keeping faculty, staff, and students informed of events, activities and administrative actions.

Members of the University family who are unfamiliar with the Office of Public Affairs’ policies and procedures should familiarize themselves with the guidelines explained in the Graphic Standards Manual and Media Protocol Manual. Anyone seeking promotional assistance or desire to have a news story prepared should complete the Publicity Request Form and submit the completed document to the Office of Public Affairs as soon as possible.

Profile 1

The University was established by, and remains closely affiliated with, the Baptist Church. However, our motto, “Leadership, Character, and Service,” emphasizes Christian values. Strong moral character, mutual respect, freedom of worship, and a commitment to serve are the hallmarks of what it means to be a Florida Memorial Lion.
