MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.-After compiling more wins, seasons and championships than any women’s basketball coach in Florida Memorial University history, Head Coach Kenneth Marshall announced his retirement following the end of his 36th season.
“Although I am retiring from Florida Memorial Basketball, the student-athletes that I have coached will always be a part of my family,” said Coach Marshall. “I’ve been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with quality people in every area of the University.
“We would like to thank Coach Marshall for his 36 years of dedicated service to Florida Memorial University and to the women’s basketball program,” said Athletic Director Robert Smith. “His players and teams had many successes on the court and in the classroom during his tenure and we are all very proud of those accomplishments. We thank him for all of his contributions and wish him well in retirement.
Assistant Women’s basketball coach Gregory Stanback will take over as Head Coach.
