Donor Societies

Annual Gift Clubs

Membership in annual gift clubs are based on gifts received between July 1 and June 30th of the prior year. This membership may be held by an individual, jointly (such as by a husband and wife) or by a corporation, foundation or organization.

    FMU Lion’s Club

  • The FMU Lion’s Club represents those donors who contribute from $5,000 or more annually to Florida Memorial University. Gifts are cumulative throughout the university’s fiscal year (July 1 – June 30 of prior year) and may be designated for any area(s) within the university.

    • The Leadership Circle

  • The Leadership Circle recognizes the generosity of annual donors of $1,000 or more. Gifts are cumulative throughout the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30 of the prior year) and may be designated for any area(s) within the University.

    • The Orange and Blue Club

  • The Orange and Blue Club is named for the school colors and recognizes the generosity of annual donors of $500 – $999. Gifts are cumulative throughout the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30 of the prior year) and will support the University’s Annual Fund.

    • The Promise Club

  • The Promise Club echoes the school motto and recognizes the generosity of annual donors of $100 – $499. Gifts are cumulative throughout the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30 of the prior year) and will support the University’s Annual Fund.

Legacy Society (Planned Giving)

The Legacy society recognizes a very special group of Florida Memorial University friends who have invested in the University’s future through planned gifts, including bequests, life income arrangements such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, life insurance and other deferred giving options.

Membership in the Legacy Society is based on planned gifts, in any amount, through a bequest, life-income agreement, life insurance or other planned gift vehicle. Membership can be held by an individual, jointly (such as by a husband and wife), jointly in memory of a husband and wife, or by a trust.

Lifetime Giving Societies

Membership in lifetime giving societies is based on cumulative gifts. Membership can be held by an individual, jointly (such as by a husband and wife), or by a corporation, foundation or organization.

    The Centennial Society

  • The Centennial Society at Florida Memorial University is named in honor of those who have provided the vision and support to keep FMU thriving from one century to the next. Its purpose is to recognize the generosity of those exceptional donors who have supported the University with cumulative gifts of $1 million or more.

    • The Founders’ Circle

  • The Founders’ Circle pays homage to the visionary leaders who established FMU as a home of opportunity for those who were denied a higher education by other institutions of higher learning. Its purpose is to recognize the generosity of donors who have supported the University with cumulative gifts of $100,000 to $999,999.

    • The Arch Club

  • The Arch Club is named in honor of those who have helped to build our legacy which began with the St. Augustine Arch a symbol of our perseverance and our transition to a four year college. Its purpose is to recognize the generosity of donors who have supported the university with cumulative gifts of $25,000 to $99,999.
