INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED CHORAL GROUP!

MIAMI SPRINGS, FL – April 5, 2013 – The Ambassador Chorale from Florida Memorial University will appear at the Curtiss Mansion on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. to sing a variety of popular songs and selections from contemporary choral literature under the direction of Dr. Melvin White. Since its founding in 1976, the 18-voice Chorale has performed in many international locations as well as a variety of local venues and shared their special brand of music to standing ovations and international acclaim.

Make plans to enjoy the beautiful blend of well-trained voices and the elegance of the Curtiss Mansion under the stars in the restored central Courtyard, weather permitting; otherwise, the performance will be held in the living room. Bring your family and friends for what is certain to be a phenomenal performance and another outstanding evening at the Mansion.

The suggested donation for the performance is $10 adults, $5 students and seniors and $2 children under 12. The presentation, part of the Curtiss Mansion After-Dinner Lecture Series, will take place at the Glenn H. Curtiss Mansion, 500 Deer Run in Miami Springs. For more information and detailed directions to the venue and parking, please call 305.869.5180 or visit www.curtissmansion.org.

The Curtiss Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is owned by the City of Miami Springs, which has charged CMI, an all-volunteer, not-for-profit group, to restore and operate the home and gardens of Glenn Hammond Curtiss, visionary aviator, inventor and developer, as an interactive technologybased educational center focusing on the inventions and contributions of Curtiss and other unsung American heroes, and as an architecturally unique, income-generating venue for celebrating life’s milestones.

The Curtiss Mansion After-Dinner Lecture Series brings no-cost or low-cost opportunities for the general public to experience and learn interesting things and enjoy this beautiful restored historic home and gardens.
