Scholarship Recipients

LaTara King (Women's basketball) and Andre Beauford (Men's Basketball) receive $1,000.00 scholarships from Darrell Brown, president and founder of the I Love the Kids Foundation. Mr. Brown, a former member of Florida Memorial University's men’s basketball team, hosts the Alfred Parker Classic Basketball Tournament for high school basketball teams. The teams usually consist of former players of Coach Alfred Parker’s that are now head coaches at various high schools throughout the country. The annual event is usually held in November in the A.Chester Robinson Athletic Center.
