This is Mae Sheriff 4th season here at Florida Memorial College as the Head Coach of the Women’s Volleyball Team. She has over 8 years of coaching experience including high school, junior college and university level programs. Under her direction, her teams have won District Championships on the high school level and Conference Championships on the University level.

Sheriff was an outstanding volleyball player during her collegiate career. She was named to the NJCAA All-America team while playing for Miami Dade Community College. She went on to play for Louisiana State University during the 1982-83 seasons.

Her professional career includes stints on the USA Volleyball B Team, the Italian Professional League and the Chicago Breeze of Major League Volleyball.

Coach Sheriff received her AA Degree in Elementary Education from Miami Dade Community College and a BA degree in Social Work from Florida International University. She currently teaches in a pre-kindergarten program for children ages 3 to 5.
