Through athletics, the goals of the Athletic Department are:

• To promote the education and development of student-athletes through participation in intercollegiate athletics.
  
• To create school pride and spirit throughout the entire Florida Memorial community including students, alumni, staff and friends of the university.

The university takes pride in the accomplishments of our student-athletes both on and off the playing fields. While competition is important, the overall development of young men and women is essential. We are committed to preparing young people for productive careers upon completion of their athletic eligibility.

Florida Memorial University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). and competes in the Florida Sun Conference (FSC).
