Coach Bellinger is a native of South Carolina but was raised in Miami and Boston, Ma. From 1975-1978 he was a member of the Miami Killian High School varsity basketball team which competed in the regional finals.

Coach Bellinger is a living testimony for success. He was playing basketball at a local park where he was approached by Florida Memorial University Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Daley who brought Florida Memorial University Head Men’s Coach Parker to watch him play. Coach Parker gave Bellinger the opportunity to attend Florida Memorial College in 1981. Bellinger earned a starting role as a sophomore and was team captain of the team from 1982-1986. He received all conference honors during his junior and senior years. He graduated with a BS Degree on Physical Education.

One of Coach Bellinger’s visions is to give back to his alma mater the “Pride of the Lion” which taught him to strive to win on and off the court. He believes that his ability to coach is a blessing and e will use it to positively influence the young me he encounters through sports.

Now going into his second season as head coach, Bellinger has been given the opportunity to lead the Lions. His expectations are for his team to commit to success both on the court and in the classroom.
