Dear Alumni/Friends: 

Florida Memorial University has embarked on a new Student Scholarship/Financial Assistance and Endowment Fundraising Campaign. This fundraising campaign is designed to increase the immediate institutional scholarship and financial aid fund, as well as to promote the continuous growth of the Scholarship Endowment Fund for the purpose of providing even greater financial support to students in the future. 

As graduates of Florida Memorial University, we have agreed to work on this very important fundraising campaign to help deserving students attend our alma mater. The current cost to attend Florida Memorial University is $15,952 per academic year and more than 90% of our students must receive some form of financial aid in order to attend college. For 75% of the students, there is a financial gap ranging from $500 - $5,000 to meet institutional costs of tuition, books, fees, room, and board. Since the majority of the students come from homes with an average annual family income of $24,000, there is little wonder that more than half of the students are the first in their families ever to attend college. 

We feel it is time for the alumni and friends of Florida Memorial University to assist in this fundraising effort. Many of us realize that our dream of graduating from Florida Memorial University would not have been possible without the generosity of others. It is now time for us to give back, and we have developed a mechanism through which it will be easy and perpetual. 

By participating in this campaign, your donation to the university can be automatically deducted from your checking or credit card account. For as little as $10.00 or $20.00 a month your tax-deductible donation to the University can begin making a difference in the lives of Florida Memorial University students.
