Alumni Affairs Mission Statement
The Office of Alumni Affairs’ responsibility in the Office of Development and University Relations is three-fold:

It is responsible for the implementation of programs designed to increase the number of active alumni; and maintaining viable contact with our alumni. Enlist alumni in the recruiting of students. Coordinate with the Florida Memorial University Alumni Association the establishment of alumni chapters: and the promotion of fund-raising activities.

It is the conduit between the University and Florida Memorial University Alumni Association in the implementation of their respective agendas for the inclusion of alumni in major university events. Provides assistance in the coordination and dissemination of information, which keeps alumni abreast of institutional progress and goals.

It is the advisor/Sponsor for the Pre-Alumni Council (PAC). PAC provides our students with their initial exposure to what it means to be an alumnus; and prepares them for their future involvement in our alumni chapters.
