This course of study is designed for students who want to concentrate on composing, arranging, and performing jazz in small or large ensembles, such as the big band style of Duke Ellington and Count Basie, or the small jazz ensembles.

Graduation Requirements

This degree program requires a minimum of 121 semester hours for completion and is designed primarily for students who wish to continue as professional jazz musicians or pursuing graduate studies.
