The Department of Freshmen Studies does not offer a degree. The Schools offer majors in subject areas leading to the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees and Masters degrees. The Department of Continuing Education offers the Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Academic programs are designed to broaden the intellectual experiences and abilities of students; these programs also recognize and provide for intellectual diversity as individual interests and goals are satisfied.
