The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is designed for working adults whose educational goals can be achieved by combining courses from various degree programs at the College. To be accepted into the Interdisciplinary Studies program students must:
- Be working adults;
- Apply to the Division of Extension and Continuing Education;
- Submit a written statement of goals for the Interdisciplinary Studies degree program; and
- Follow an outlined academic plan, as developed by the program coordinator, which identifies coursework that will be completed.
A minimum of 45 credits in courses numbered 300 or above shall come from the Business Administration, Humanities, and Social Sciences disciplines. In addition to the 45 minimum credits, students are required to select a Track (area of concentration) and the credit distribution in the track as follows: BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION- 21 credits; HUMANITIES- 21 credits; SOCIAL SCIENCES – 21 credits.
Graduation Requirements
This degree program requires a minimum of 122 semester hours for completion.
